Press release, Steve Nace Racing:

February 28, 2013 – Paducah, KY

Here at Steve Nace Racing Promotions we are constantly working to improve this sport that we are so passionate about. This season we are excited to announce that we had partnered up with some great sponsors and added new venues to the schedule.

Round 1 of the AMA Racing sanctioned All Star National Flat Track Series by GoldenTyre will return to the super fast half mile at Oglethorpe Speedway Park in Savannah, GA on March 8th to kick off Daytona Bike Week 2013. Round 2 of the series will the move South to Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, FL on March 10th.
May 18th we will travel to a new venue in Little Rock, AR. Paul Covert of Crooked Creek Raceway is taking us just down the road from his facility to the bigger I-30 Speedway for Round 3. Paul said his fans want to see the twins race, so he is going to make it happen. Some of the best fans are in Little Rock and the Dash for Cash is always a “bag of money”.

For years dirt track enthusiasts have made the trek to Springfield, IL for the Memorial weekend motorcycle races. For the first time, the AMA All Star National Flat Track Series by GoldenTyre will invite the racers to the ever challenging TT course on May 25th for Round 4. Putting the racers first, IMDA offered to increase the purse by $500 for each pre-entry received by January 31st, 2013 from the Expert racers that finished in the top 20 last year. The purse was increased to $15,500 which means several of those racers have already pre-entered for this event. I couldn’t think of any place we’d rather be for this holiday weekend!
The All Star National Flat Track Series by GoldenTyre will travel to Peoria, IL for Rounds 5 and 6. June 14th we will be racing on the Short Track at the always
competitive Peoria Speedway and June 16th the Peoria Motorcycle Club will host our series on the highly revered natural terrain Peoria TT. The racers are always anxious to go racing in Peoria!

For Round 7 we will be in Ashland, OH at the Ashland County Fairgrounds to watch the racers do battle on the Half Mile. This is a new venue for the series, but this track has played host to several motorcycle races throughout the years and we are excited to have our first All Star race in Ohio.
Once again, we will be celebrating Independence Day in Frederick, MD with Richard Riley from Fredericktown Yamaha at the Al Wilcox Memorial during the 91st Annual Barbara Fritchie Classic for Round 8 of the All Star series. This is an annual event that all in attendance look forward to every year.
We will return to Peoria, IL for Round 9 at the Peoria Speedway Short Track. This race will take place on Friday August 9th leading up to the AMA Pro GNC Peoria TT event on August 11th. On August 31st we will be back in Springfield, IL during the Labor Day weekend for Round 10. This time however the racers will be competing on the lightening fast Short Track. On September 28th we will return to the White Rose Thunder Motorcycle Ralley at the York Fairgrounds in York, PA for the final Round of the 2013 AMA Racing All Star National Flat Track Series by GoldenTyre on the Half Mile. Bob Adamson and the fine folks with White Rose Thunder will have one of the largest All Star purses of the year up for grabs.

GoldenTyre has come on board this year in a big way. And we have to take a second to Thank Chris Carr of CC4, LLC for all of his efforts in bringing this partnership to life. They have put together a contingency program for every competitor at every race that runs the GoldenTyres on their bikes. For the Pros and Experts 1st place will receive $50, 2nd place will receive $30 and 3rd place will receive $20. For the Amateur Motorcycle classes 1st place will receive $25, 2nd place will receive $15 and 3rd place will receive $10. This contingency money can be used to purchase new GoldenTyres through the CC4, LLC distributor.
Tom Seymour from Saddlemen Seats and Saddlebags has always been a great supporter of Dirt Track and he wanted to be a part of the 2013 All Star National Flat Track Series by GoldenTyre. He will present the overall Champion of each Amateur motorcycle class with a $100 gift certificate which can be used to purchase a new race seat or possibly a motorcycle cover for their championship bike.

Gary Kinzler from Lightshoe has always supported Steve Nace Racing and he has really come on board in a big way for 2013. He is giving gift certificates to the top three overall finishers of each Amateur Motorcycle class at the end of the season. The class champion will receive $75, 2nd will receive $50 and 3rd place will receive $25 to go towards the purchase of a new Lightshoe.

Hap’s Leathers has been making race suits for some very fast Expert racers for several years and they are going to help our Amateur racers in 2013. Kenny Hapke is giving Gift certificates to the overall Champions of each Amateur Motorcycle class that will be valid for $200 off a Pro suit or $100 off an Amateur suit.
Jimmy Wood of Southland Race Suspension has also joined the 2013 AMA Racing All Star National Flat Track Series by GoldenTyre. Jimmy builds suspension for several top Expert racers including Jake Johnson and he wants to help out our Amateur racers this year with a gift certificate for $100 to be presented to the overall class Champion in each Amateur motorcycle class.

So, just to review – the Amateur class Champions this year will receive gift certificates with a value of $475. Plus all of the GoldenTyre contingency up for grabs during the season. We really want to showcase these up and coming Stars of Flat Track racing along with our Pro and Expert racers.
The AMA sanctioned All Star National Flat Track Series by GoldenTyre was formed in 2010 to take the place of the AMA Hot Shoe Series when it was discontinued. Our goal is to provide AMA Pro & Expert racers venues to race at during the off weekends and in conjunction with AMA Pro Racing Grand National Championship Flat Track Series. As well as bringing the sport of Flat Track Motorcycle Racing to new venues and potentially new fans across the US.
